TradeWhiz Group Holdings, Inc. provides financial education and training services to the enormous market of individual active investors who are increasingly self-managing their investments. The company is positioned principally as a business-to-business content and application service provider, a school that institutions, portals and others may license to provide better services, build brand loyalty and market services more effectively to their active investor-customers. A second highly lucrative portion of TradeWhiz's business involves providing trade execution and account services directly to active investors, as well as through business customers.
By 2003, over 7 million active investors will generate over $5.1 billion in education and training revenues online. This vast "middle market" is generally poorly served and they present a huge challenge for financial institutions. On one hand, they have become the core profit center; yet, on the other hand, they are demanding information and services of increasing "value" that institutions are not geared up to provide.
The TradeWhiz System comprises five major content and tool components: (a) "Profilers" (assesses investor expertise, builds plans), (b) "Knowledge Boosters" (education), (c) "Skill Boosters" (training, follow-up), (d) "Whizbitstm" (real-time, instant messages, mini lessons, customer service, call-to-action), and, (e) TWinstm (TradeWhiz Information Network Services; real-time transaction and account-oriented services).
TradeWhiz currently offers more than 350 hours of financial education, training courses, content and proprietary technology in a 5,000 square foot learning center in New York's Silicon Alley. The learning center is at capacity and the company is now fully ready to "Web-ify" this rich and unique education and training experience to target the fast growing market.
