MIT ENTERPRISE FORUM OF NEW YORK CITY, INC.

in association with Technology Review

presents

Energy:

"Old Wine...In New Casks?"

Deregulation, demand/supply bottlenecks, evaporating valuations, bankruptcy, foreign sourcing have created havoc on both Main Street and Wall Street. In 1999 Americans spent nearly $600 billion on energy. By 2020 world energy consumption is expected to increase by 59%! Developing nations are expected to consume nearly the same amount of oil as industrialized nations.

New technologies – and new implementations of existing technologies – taken directly from the pages of the special issue: Energy of Technology Review (February, 2002) could make these challenges moot.

Come listen to a panel of experts discuss trends, realities and what we face in the near future.
